Penedo do Guincho



Penedo do Guincho is the most unique symbol of Praia de Santa Cruz, formed by an imposing rock structure, 30 meters high and about 100 meters in circumference. At the base it has a vaulted slit through which the sea flows. During low tides, it is possible to cross it on foot. This iconic rock is a residual relief left by marine erosion of the geological formations of which it was part and which belonged to the Upper Jurassic period.

Alto da Vela



Alto da Vela is a viewpoint where we can see kilometers of beaches from Praia da Amoeira, Praia Formosa, the fantastic Penedo do Guinho and Vila de Santa Cruz to Praia de Santa Cruz in Vimeiro.

Viewpoint of Santa Cruz



Viewpoint of Santa Cruz, this viewpoint is an observatory with a panoramic view of the Atlantic coast where you can see Pendo do Guincho, Praia de Santa Helena, Praia do Norte and other beaches up to Vimeiro, sometimes you can see the island of Berlengas, the locals say when you can see the island very clearly it is a sign that the next day will be bad weather.

Ericeira



Ericeira seaside resort/fishing community on the western coast of Portugal, about 35 kilometres northwest of Lisbon. Ericeira is regarded by some as being Europe's Surf Mecca, due to the exceptional coastline conditions for the practice of Surf. It is home to Ericeira's World Surfing Reserve, the first in Europe and the second in the world.It is a popular destination for local and visiting tourists, as well as surfers from around the world.

Peniche



Peniche is known for its long beaches, which are popular for recreational activities and sports such as surfing, windsurfing, body boarding and kite surfing. These beaches are consistently windy and have good surf breaks with supertubos, waves forming fast and powerful tubes, considered among the best in Europe. The area has been called the "European Pipeline".

Óbidos



Óbidos - The area was taken from the Moors by the first King of Portugal, Afonso Henriques, in 1148. The retaking of Óbidos was a final stage in the conquest of the Estremadura region. Here you can feel a genuine medieval atmosphere.

Nazaré



Nazaré it's a picturesque fishing village. It has become known In November 2011, when the surfer Garrett McNamara, who resides in Hawai'i, surfed a record-breaking giant wave: 78 feet (23.8 m). McNamara returned to the spot and successfully surfed a wave that appeared even larger, but is awaiting an official measurement.

Sintra



Sintra is known for its many 19th-century Romantic architectural monuments, which has resulted in its classification as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Although its heritage in buildings and nature is the most visible face of the historic individuality of Sintra, a whole literary heritage has made the area a legendary reference in Portuguese culture.

Cabo da Roca



Cabo da Roca is a cape that forms the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe (and by definition the Eurasian landmass). The cape is in the Portuguese municipality of Sintra, near Azóia, in the southwest of the district of Lisbon, forming the westernmost extent of the Serra de Sintra.

Guincho Beach



Guincho Beach The beach has preferred surfing conditions and is popular for surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. Strong northern winds are predominant during summertime, making this beach ideal for windsurfing and kitesurfing.

Cascais



Cascais is a coastal town and a municipality in Portugal, 30 kilometres west of Lisbon. The former fishing village gained fame as a resort for Portugal's royal family in the late 19th century and early 20th century. Nowadays, it is a popular vacation spot for both Portuguese and foreign tourists.
